Summary

Description

The Commando Memorial, Spean Bridge. Near the village of en:Spean Bridge, at the junction of the main en:A82 and the B8004 leading towards en:Achnacarry. The 17 foot high memorial statue was designed by en:Scott Sutherland from en:Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art en:Dundee in en:1949 and dedicated to the Commandos by Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother on en:12 September en:1952 [1].
