Summary

Description Disused section of the Thames and Severn Canal near South Cerney, Gloucestershire, England. The canal was abandoned in 1927, giving time for trees to grow along the towpath to a considerable height. This is a short (c. 250 metre) watered section; most of the canal to the east of the Sapperton Tunnel is dry.
