Summary

Description
English: Sea Cut Weir , Suffield cum Everley. This is the point where water in the River Derwent divides between the river downstream and the Sea Cut to Scalby. The flow into the river is controlled by a penstock, and there is a weir across the entry to the Sea Cut to ensure that there is a dry-weather flow in the river.
