English: SS Michael and Gabriel Stained glass by William Bucknall (1851-1944) in Little St Mary's church. Bucknall was an architect and designer who worked closely with Sir Ninian Comper. The archangel Michael is shown as "Captain of the Lord's Hosts" whilst his colleague Gabriel utters the greeting of the Annunciation to the Blessed Virgin Mary "Hail, Thou that art highly favoured!"
