Monolith. The stone stands almost 26ft high next to Rudston Parish Church of all Saints. Made form Moor Grit Conglomerate from the Late Neolithic Period. This material can be found in the Cleveland Hills inland from Whitby. This view to its wide face looking NE towards the B1253.
