Summary

Description
English: Pennersaugh or Penersax Graveyard Unseen from the passing traffic on the adjoining B7076 or the A74(M) is Pennersaugh (or Penersax) graveyard. Set within the environs of Burnfoot Hall (formerly Rickerby House), the ancient graveyard covers the remains of the C12 Pennersaugh Parish Church. The graveyard has interesting medieval graveslabs and the last known burial was 1952.
