English: Membury Camp The track (public footpath) in the middle of the hill-fort. The circular earthworks are completely shrouded in trees. Inside the walls it is mostly arable farmland. There is a small clump of trees (nearest the camera) surrounding a pond. Beyond that is Walls Copse which covers a quarter of the circle (the Berkshire bit). |
