Summary

Description
English: Marnoch Old Church Marnoch old church was built in 1792 to replace an ancient church on the banks of the river Deveron. It is named after St Marnan a Celtic missionary from Ireland who settled in the area. The stone age standing stone in the kirkyard shows that the ground on which the church is built has long been used for religious purposes. The stone is known locally as St Marnan's chair.
