English: In Ballypatrick Forest This is a fairly typical view along the scenic drive through Ballypatrick Forest. This forest consists almost exclusively of dense stands of commercial timber which are so dark a bare 10-20m from the road as to be downright spooky! The chief attractions in the forest park are really the bridge/ford D1936 and the views of Knocklayde and Rathlin from the higher reaches of the drive. |
