Description
English: View of The High Level Bridge in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England taken from the Castle that gave its name to the city. Note the rationalised tracks - down to 2 - and the provision of electrification to permit East Coast Main Line (ECML) electric locomotives to use the bridge. The swing bridge can be seen to the left (downstream).
