Summary

Description
English: Eglwys Pabo Sant Llanbabo. According to tradition Pabo was a Celtic king ruling over part of the Pennines. His epithet was Post Prydain - the pillar of Britain. After conversion to Christianity he is said to have retired to this site and founded the original church. See http://www.earlybritishkingdoms.com/bios/paboppn.html The large churchyard yew visible in 157605 has been split and blown down by recent gales and is being cut up for firewood.
