Summary

Description
English: Coalville Crossing Signal Box and tandem headgear. , Snibston Discovery Park The tandem headgear was developed by George Stephenson - of railway fame - to improve safety and productivity; the pit would no longer be dependent on a single shaft for lifting coal or in an emergency.
