| Description |
English: Cairn Pat View. Looking from Cairn Pat towards the village of Lochans. Viewed in mid-March with the ground still looking dead after the 2010 "Big Freeze". The summit of Cairn Pat is occupied by a prehistoric hillfort or walled settlement. Originally there were 3 ramparts with ditches, but there's little left to see now. Nothing of archaeological significance was found when the radio station was constructed. For more information, see [1] |
