Summary

Description
English: 20 Old Westlegate and All Saints' Church. Originally an Inn, called the "Barking Dickey" (see 1131671 for explanation), it is now a teashop, having previously been a greengrocer and a bank for a period. The building is grade II listed, dating from the late 16th/early 17th century, and must be one of the few (only?) thatched buildings in Norwich. For listing particulars, see http://www.heritagegateway.org.uk/Gateway/Results_Single.aspx?uid=229740&resourceID=5. On the right is the tower of the former All Saints Church, a grade I 15th/16th century former Parish Church which became redundant in 1973. It now serves as an ecumenical multi-purpose Christian centre (see http://www.allsaintsnorwich.org.uk). For listing particulars, see http://www.heritagegateway.org.uk/Gateway/Results_Single.aspx?uid=229741&resourceID=5.
