Earle is a hamlet in the north of Northumberland; a little place of just 20 inhabitants. It is to be found two miles from Wooler, at the edge of the Cheviots.
Earle and its neighbourhood are is a popular walking area with many walks passing through Earle on their way to the Cheviot Hills.
