Cape Lookout is the southernmost point of Elephant Island, chiefest of the north-eastern cluster of the South Shetland Islands in the British Antarctic Territory. It is a mighty, rocky headland rising to some 660 feet above the sea.

This headland was charted and named by Powell in 1821-22.

Just off the cape lies Rowett Island.
