Ballyrobert is a small village in County Antrim. Its name is derived from the Irish Baile Riobaird, meaning "Robert's Town";[1] a name apparently Gaelicised in the Middle Ages from a Norman original: in 1306 the name Ville Rob[er]ti is recorded.

The village is to be found about two and a half miles south of Ballyclare and has developed around the junction of the Ballyrobert Road and the Mossley Road/The Longshot. It had a population of 587 people at the 2001 Census.
