Wissington or Wiston is a small village and ancient parish in the Babergh hundred of Suffolk.[1] The parish lies in three separate parts with Nayland running between them. The two civil parishes were combined in 1884 to form Nayland-with-Wissington. In 1881, Wissington had a population of 191.[2]

The three parts of the parish comprise the area around the village itself; the area around Wissington Grange to the north; and the area around Wissington Grove to the west.[2]
