Walton Cardiff is a village and ancient parish in northern Gloucestershire, situated between Tewkesbury and Ashchurch. The large residential development of Wheatpieces in the south-east has formed a separate civil parish since 2008, with the remainder forming part of Ashchurch Rural.

There was a chapel of Walton Cardiff by 1249, but it remained subservient to the parish church at Tewkesbury until the 17th century, when it became a parish in its own right. The church of St James was rebuilt in 1869, but was closed by 1975 and subsequently demolished. No trace now remains, save a ghostly outline in a field to the south-west of the village.[1]
