Upper Woolhampton is a little village in Berkshire, just half a mile north of Woolhampton itself, on higher ground. Both the parish church of St Peter and the village school are actually located in Upper Woolhampton.
Also in Upper Woolhampton is historic Woolhampton House, which now houses Elstree School, a preparatory school that relocated to Woolhampton from Elstree (in Hertfordshire) during the Second World War.
The Benedictine Douai Abbey community, and its now-closed Douai School is a further half mile to the north.[1]
