Tithby or Tythby is a village and ancient parish in the Bingham Wapentake of Nottinghamshire, about three miles due south of Bingham itself.

Geography

The village is included in the civil parish of Tithby and Wiverton, which has a population of about 95.[1] Tithby is made up of mostly farms and farmhouses, much like the local villages; Colston Bassett, Cropwell Butler, Cropwell Bishop, Langar, and Barnstone. The nearest schools, shops and other amenities are in Bingham.

Church

The Anglican parish church is Holy Trinity. Tythby (the ecclesiastical parish is so spelt) is one of the Wiverton group.[2]
