Upper Hayton and Lower Hayton are two hamlets in southern Shropshire, four miles north of Ludlow in the lowlying farmland on the east side of the River Corve, north of Stanton Lacey. Upper Hayton is at the foot of the hill slope, while Lower Hayton is a few cottages on the floodplain half a mile to the west.
Further up the hill, just half a mile to the south-east of Upper Hayton, is a larger hamlet sharing the name; Hayton's Bent.
