BrixhamBrixham is a small fishing town on the southeast coast of Devon. It is at the southern end of Tor Bay and of the little Torbay conurbation. It stands across the bay from Torquay, all these towns being within the Haytor Hundred. The town is a fishing port and its main occupations are fishing and tourism. Brixham is most famous as the spot at which William of Orange landed in 1688 to begin the march which placed him on the thrones of England, Scotland and Ireland in place of his father-in-law James II.
