Ballymoyer

Ballymoyer is a village in the Barony of Upper Fews in County Armagh, three miles northeast of Newtownhamilton.

Ballymoyer House by the village was once the seat of Sir Walter Synnot (1742-1821), but now a National Trust property. The woodland around Ballymoyer is a veritable fairy glen, and surrounded by the wild and dramatic scenery of the Fews Mountains. (Read more)
