Shitlington Crags

Shitlington Crags are a distinctive stretch of crags in Northumberland, at the edge of the Cheviots, to the west of the River North Tyne and north of the Houxty Burn, a mile and a half south of Bellingham.

The crags present small south and west facing buttresses, which attract climbers.

These crags form a distinctive landmark on the Pennine Way, which crosses the crags in a narrow gap. A bunkhouse has been provided nearby for walkers.[1]
