Rushcliffe Wapentake in Nottinghamshire

Rushcliffe is one of the wapentakes or hundreds of Nottinghamshire, in the south of the county, adjacent to the borders with Leicestershire and Derbyshire. It is bounded by Bingham Wapentake to the east; by Leicestershire to the south; by Derbyshire to the west; and by Broxtow to the north-west. There is also a short border with Thurgarton Wapentake between West Bridgford and Sneinton. Rushcliffe had a population of 97,318 in 2011.
