Fishing in the River Kenn

The River Kenn is a small river of the Somerset Levels, rising in the levels south of Nailsea, from streams gathering on the low hills here, and flowing westward through the North Somerset Levels.

The river has been harnessed to the network of drainage systems across the level. North of the village of Kenn it loses most of its water to the Blind Yeo, itself a river rurnd into a drain, while the remaiing stream heads south-west, passes under the M5 motorway, and heads to the sea, indistinct amongst a tangle of streams, rhynes and drains.
