Ouaisne Bay

Ouaisne Bay indents the south coast of Jersey: it is a sister bay to the wider St Brelade's Bay and like its big sister it is fringed with wide, sandy beach. The two beaches being separated only by a rocky outcrop and joined at low tide. The two bays form one single arc. Ouaisne is pronounced "Way-nay" locally.

Ouaisne Bay can be reached down a leafy lane, or from St Brelade's Bay by a path behind the outcrop between the two, or along the sands at low tide.

Above the bay is L’Ouaisné Common, and close by The Smugglers' Inn.
