North Waltham is a village in the north of Hampshire, six miles south-west of Basingstoke and just north of the M3 motorway. The 2011 Census recorded a population of 870.

The village has a pretty village pond, a shop, a Victorian primary school, a recreation ground and two pubs: The Fox, and The Wheatsheaf.

Parish church

The Parish Church, St Michael's, is on the south side of the village. It was originally built in the Middle Ages, and work from the Norman and later Gothic eras is found in the church. However the south wall and chancel arch collapsed in about 1850, and the church was rebuilt: the church seen today was built in 1865, with echoes of the original remaining in its structure.
