North Elkington is a village in Lindsey, the northern part of Lincolnshire, a mile to the north of the nearest village, South Elkington: both are three miles north-west of the nearest market town, Louth.

There was once a parish church in the village, St Helen, built 1851-52 by S. S. Teulon in Early English style. Built into both the side walls of the porch are 13th-century coffin lid fragments. The church has been sold and is now in private ownership, though it remains a Grade II listed building.[1]

In the Middle Ages the place was a village, and the earthworks of the old village may still be seen in the fields.[2]
