Miskin Hundred

The Miskin Hundred is one of the hundreds of Glamorgan, in the centre of the county. It takes its name from the village of Miskin which is situated in the very south of the ancient parish of Llantrisant. It is bounded to the north by Brecknockshire; to the east by Caerphilly Hundred; to the south by Dinas Powis, Cowbridge and Newcastle Hundreds and to the west by Ogmore and Neath Hundreds. There is a very short boundary with Kibbor to the very south-west. It is the second-most populous of Glamorgan's hundreds after Kibbor, with a population of 217,777.
