Middletown is a village and township of the ancient parish of Alberbury in Montgomeryshire, adjacent to the border with Shropshire. It additionally falls within the civil community of Trewern.

At the foot of the Breidden Hills, the village sits astride the A458 road, between Welshpool and Shrewsbury. Middletown has a pub, The Breidden; a village hall; and Church of England church.

All Saints church is situated to the north-east of the village and forms part of the Diocese of Hereford.
