Lough Finn
From Wikishire
Lough Finn is a freshwater lake in County Donegal, three miles long above Fintown, in the very centre of the county. The water from Lough Finn flows out to create the River Finn. The lough is a ribbon stretching in a south-west to north-east direction, with Fintown at its north-eastern end.
The lough and Fintown are named after a mythological woman, Finngeal, who drowned in the lake after attempting to save her wounded brother Feargamhain.
