Little Crosthwaite is a hamlet in Cumberland, and within the Lake District. It is in an area known as 'Underskiddaw' for its position below the slopes of that great fell, Skiddaw.
Little Crosthwaite is on the eastern shore of the Bassenthwaite Lake, on the A591 road, between Keswick and Bassenthwaite.
The Calvert Trust a charity that provides disability awareness training and adventurous outdoor activities for people with disabilities has its headquarters there.
