Lesnewth Hundred

Lesnewth Hundred is one of the ten hundreds of Cornwall, in the north-east of the county with Triggshire to the south-west and Stratton Hundred to the north-east. It is the least populous of the mainland Cornish hundreds, with a population of 10,856 in 2011.
Tintagel, Camelford, Boscastle, and Altarnun lie in the Hundred of Lesnewth as well as Lesnewth itself, which is now only a hamlet but which Maclean reckoned to have been the seat of a Cymric chieftain who ruled the whole of Trigg.[1]
