Lempitlaw is a hamlet in the southern part of the Parish of Sprouston in southern Roxburghshire, amongst the rolling farmland south of the River Tweed two miles from the boundary of Northumberland.
Lempitlaw was formerly a parish itself, the remains of its church being visible up to the late 18th century though only as a ruin. The churchyard was still in use.
