Kilclief parish church

Kilclief is a parish in County Down, situated in the baronies of Lecale Lower and Lecale Upper. It is also a townland of 623 acres.[1]

The present, small, Church of Ireland parish church dates from 1839 and replaced an earlier Catholic church on the site. The old church was described as a "ruin" in 1622. The church is adjacent to Kilclief castle.
