Hinton Parva is a tiny hamlet in eastern Dorset, on a dead-end lane off the B3078 and by the little River Allen three miles north of Wimborne Minster. Together with neighbouring Hinton Martell to the north it forms a single parish known just as 'Hinton', the population of which was recorded as just 56 in 2001. Close by Hinton Parva and just to the south-east is a slightly larger village; Stanbridge.
