Haster is an inland hamlet in Caithness, on the Achairn Burn, 2½ miles west of Wick.
The village stands just west of the Bridge of Haster (ND327512), which carries the main road, the A882) linking the burghs of Wick and Thurso over Achairn Burn. Five miles to the west is Watten.
