Greycrook is a hamlet off the A68 and the A699, in Roxburghshire, on the south side of the River Tweed, about half a mile south-east of St Boswells. Just to the east along the road is Maxton.
This place has a brief claim to fame of a sort, as the highest temperature ever recorded in Scotland was recorded in Greycrook: 32.9°C on 9 August 2003.[1]
