Bridge over Glengyle Water

Glengyle is a short, narrow glen in the north-westernmost part of Stirlingshire, amongst the mountains. It is carved by the Glengyle Water, which runs down the glen into the head of Loch Katrine. Glengyle House stands beside the loch close to its head.

The continuation of the glen, as the broad valley in which Loch Katrine lies, is known as Strath Gartney.
