| Description |
English: The Grace Darling memorial In the churchyard of St Aidan's Church, this monument was paid for by public subscription from a fund started by Queen Victoria. Her effigy became badly corroded by the sea air and was replaced by this one in a more durable material. The original is now inside the church. She is buried in the family grave some yards away from the memorial.
