Description
English: The Eildon Hills, Sir Walter Scott's favourite view. Stories abound about this ancient home of the Votadini. Fairies inhabit the hill and the Fairy Queen plucked Thomas of Ercildune away to Fairy land. Thomas (the Rhymer) later related his experiences before returning to fairy land forever.
