English: This view shows the west wing on the left, the great hall in the centre, and the staircase gallery on the right. Originally the west wing was designed as lodgings for family members and visitors, and built as four separate suites not linked to the Great Hall. Today the Old Hall is entered via the west wing (the door is at the south end of the wing (out of sight behind the display board), and the ground floor contains the information desk and gift shop. The upper floor contains the exhibition galleries.
Français : Cette vue montre l'aile ouest sur la gauche, la grande salle dans le centre, et la galerie escalier sur la droite. Originaire de l'aile ouest a été conçu pour loger les membres de la famille et les visiteurs, et construit comme quatre suites séparées n'est pas lié à la Grande Salle. Aujourd'hui, le Old Hall est entré par le biais de l'aile ouest (la porte est à l'extrémité sud de l'aile (hors de vue derrière le panneau d'affichage), et le rez de chaussée contient le bureau d'information et boutique de cadeaux. L'étage supérieur contient les galeries d'exposition.
Deutsch: Diese Ansicht zeigt den Westflügel auf der linken Seite, den großen Saal in der Mitte und die Treppe/Galerie auf der rechten Seite. Ursprünglich war der Westflügel als Unterkunft für Angehörige und Besucher konzipiert worden und gebaut als vier separate Suiten, die nicht mit der großen Halle verbunden waren. Heute wird die Old Hall über den Westflügel betreten (die Tür befindet sich am südlichen Ende des Flügels - nicht sichtbar hinter der Anzeigetafel), und im Erdgeschoss sind Information und Souvenirshop untergebracht. Im Obergeschoss befinden sich die Ausstellungsgalerien. |
