Summary

Description
English: Deer, Savernake Forest. In contrast to the domesticated deer to be found at places like Dyrham Park (see for example 447963 ) the forest deer are extremely wary, perhaps as a result of being chased around by the nobility and gentry in centuries past. This was a lucky moment in that this doe showed enough of herself for long enough for me to grab this image. The deer in western Canada are much more brazen and hence far easier to photograph https://www.panoramio.com/photo/24708749
