Dengie Hundred in Essex

The Hundred of Dengie is a hundred of Essex, in the east of the county, forming a peninsula between the Crouch and Blackwater estuaries. It is bounded by Thurstable Hundred to the north; by Rochford Hundred to the south; by Chelmsford Hundred to the west; and by Witham Hundred to the north-west. To the east is the North Sea. It had a population of 45,579 in 2011.
