Clackmannanshire is the smallest county of the United Kingdom. Its nickname is the wee county. It lies between Fife and Perthshire. Kinross-shire, a county almost as small, adjoins Clackmannanshire to the east.
Geography
The Ochil Hills lie in the northern part of the county. It mostly comprises a lowland plain, forming the straths of the River Forth and of the River Devon, which joins the Forth near Cambus.
