Chantry is a little village in Somerset, among the Mendip Hills. It is one of the Thankful Villages; those few places which suffered no casualties amongst their men in the First World War.

The church here is Holy Trinity.

Chantry Park is Grade II* listed. The manor house, named, The Chantry, is a neoclassical villa built around 1825 to the design of Bath architect John Pinch the elder. The Chantry Estate and school were established by the family of James Fussell, an iron magnate operating the Old Ironstone Works at in Vallis Vale between Mells and Great Elm.
