Cefn Meiriadog (sometimes Cefnmeriadog) is a village and parish in Denbighshire, just south of the City of St Asaph, Flintshire.[1] The boundary of the village on three sides is the river Elwy.

"Cefn" in the Welsh language means the side of a hill; St Meiriadog was a 5th Century saint. Cefn Caves are nearby, where human and early Neanderthal remains dating back 250,000 years have been discovered. Visitors to the site have included Charles Darwin, in 1831.[2]
