The Cat's Water

The Cat's Water is a minor stream, which marks the easternmost boundary of the Soke of Peterborough, and thus the boundary between Northamptonshire (of which the Soke is a part) and Cambridgeshire, between the villages of Eye, Northamptonshire and Thorney, Cambridgeshire.

Catwater Farm stands on its banks.

Though a little drainage channel now, it preserves something of the old course of the River Nene below Peterborough before the Nene was diverted and canalised to improve navigation.
